EAR

We treat all ear-related problems, from simple issues to complex disorders, with customized
treatment options that relieve the discomfort of ear conditions.

Endoscopic tympanoplasty (scarless)

Endoscopic tympanoplasty is a surgical procedure that uses an endoscope (a small, flexible tube with a light and camera) to repair a hole or tear in the eardrum (tympanic membrane). The procedure is typically performed to correct problems related to chronic ear infections, trauma, or congenital defects. The surgeon will use the endoscope to visualize the inner ear and make repairs to the eardrum. This procedure is less invasive than traditional tympanoplasty, which involves making an incision behind the ear, and typically results in less postoperative pain and a quicker recovery time.

Myringotomy and grommet insertion

Myringotomy is a surgical procedure that involves making a small hole in the eardrum (tympanic membrane) to relieve pressure caused by fluid buildup in the middle ear. Grommet insertion is a procedure that is often performed in conjunction with myringotomy. A grommet is a small, cylindrical device that is inserted into the hole in the eardrum created during the myringotomy. Both procedures are typically performed under general anesthesia, and recovery time varies depending on the individual case.

Stapedotomy

Stapedotomy is a surgical procedure that is used to treat conductive hearing loss caused by a  problem with the stapes bone, one of the three small bones in the middle ear. The procedure involves making a small hole in the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and then removing the stapes bone or the footplate of the stapes bone and replacing it with a small prosthetic device called a stapedotomy piston. This allows sound waves to reach the inner ear more effectively, improving hearing.

Mastoidectomy

Mastoidectomy is a surgical procedure that involves the removal of a portion of the mastoid bone, which is located behind the ear. The procedure is typically performed to treat chronic ear infections or other conditions that affect the mastoid bone, such as cholesteatoma.

Ear lobe repair

Stapedotomy is a surgical procedure that is used to treat conductive hearing loss caused by a  problem with the stapes bone, one of the three small bones in the middle ear. The procedure involves making a small hole in the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and then removing the stapes bone or the footplate of the stapes bone and replacing it with a small prosthetic device called a stapedotomy piston. This allows sound waves to reach the inner ear more effectively, improving hearing.

Laser keloid excision

Laser keloid excision is a surgical procedure that uses a laser to remove a keloid, which is a type of scar that is raised, thick, and can be itchy or painful. Keloids are typically caused by injury, surgery, or other types of skin trauma, and can occur anywhere on the body, but they are most common on the ears, chest, and shoulders.

Ear piercing

In medical settings, ear piercing is typically used as a form of treatment for certain conditions. One example is auricular acupuncture, which is a form of acupuncture that involves the insertion of small needles into specific points on the ear. This is believed to help relieve pain and other symptoms associated. It is important to note that ear piercing is for medical purposes and should only be performed by a trained and licensed practitioner, and proper sterilization and sanitation protocols should be followed to avoid infections or complications.

Foriegn body removal

Foreign body removal is a procedure that involves the removal of an object that has entered the ear canal or other parts of the ear. This can include things like insects, beads, small toys, or even small pieces of food.

Videoendoscopy of ear

Videoendoscopy of the ear, also known as endoscopic ear surgery, is a minimally invasive surgical technique that allows the surgeon to view the ear canal and middle ear through a small endoscope (a tiny camera) during the surgery. This technique allows for a more precise and accurate surgery.

Malignancies of ear management

Malignancies of the ear refer to cancerous growths that occur in the ear or surrounding structures. These can include cancers of the skin, ear canal, middle ear, and inner ear. The management of malignancies of the ear depends on the type and stage of cancer, as well as the overall health of the patient.
